Engineering was engaged in a full scale alluvial
mining operation in 1997-2001. The price of gold at the time
was hovering between $220 - $265 USD per
ounce which caused the principals eventually to place a hold on further
mining operations until gold increased in price. Now
that we have been witness to a steady increase in the price
of gold we realized it was imperative that we develop a new
and larger scale group of projects.
By assembling a team of engineers and geologists to work
with us who have been in Ghana since 1980 gave us a totally
new dimension in the exploration phases of what makes a
project work and maintain profitability. In late 2009 the original
partnership decided to start-up exploration on several
properties and finally settled in with two projects that are
proven mines with over 400,000 ounces of gold reserves. The
2nd project is a combination gold and diamond mine that has
reserves of over 14 million carats and 100,000 ounces in gold.
Ron Anthony Delfino has
returned to the US to re-design operational procedures of
the future large scale mining operation. Larger equipment
and more of it will be needed to economically mine the
designated areas. Testing has proven to be very gratifying
as shown in a three week survey of bulk-sampling and actual
testing of the surrounding concessions. |
