An overview of the
Chevyrock Engineering Operation and the meaning of Gold as
it exists in the many gold reserves acquired since 1997.
As a part of our budget and the
continuation of helping the nearby villages we developed an
extensive plan to access different areas of the immediate mining
areas by building gravel roads that provided a means of access for
the people.
A visit by the Minister
of Mines and his security officer visited our site
frequently so that we could show our progress of preserving
the richness and beauty of the land as a continuing
remediation project.
As part of our provisions for
the betterment of mankind in the nearby villages along the Birim
River, we built a water recycling system in advance of the used
settlement pond waters that would reenter the Birim River.
One of the most
rewarding and satisfying features of "Gold Mining" is the
separation process in which we separate the gold from other
aggregates and breakdown the precious metal to prepare it
for the smelting process.
Gold will melt down at 1500 C or
2732 F. Once this level of heat is applied to the precious metal it
is then in liquid form making it able to be poured into the size
gold ingot molds of choice. Cleaning and cooling is the final step.
